Mindpearl, award winning international contact centre outsourcer, who specialises in inbound multilingual customer support, announced that they have extended their multilingual service offering to Fiji.

William Pattison, Mindpearl’s Chief Executive Officer made this statement today, ‘In the past we promoted Fiji as a unilingual centre, focused on high quality English language support.  With more than 10% of our employees in this centre supporting clients in either Fijian, Hindi, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, German, Swiss German, Portuguese or Tamil to name a few.  I can confidently say Fiji has clearly surpassed our expectations by evolving into a Multilingual Centre as well.  We have experience immense growth in Fiji in the past 6 years, with more than 15 international clients now supported from this location.  By expanding Fiji’s language offering we predict even more growth in the months to come.’

Fiji has positioned itself as an attractive location for Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) operations, with the support of the Fiji Government, attracting some renowned ICT and BPO investors, including Mindpearl, HP, Dell, IBM, Compaq, Acer and Cisco Systems.  In 2014, Fiji was awarded the European Offshoring Destination of the Year award which further cemented its appeal.

Multilingual service support adds to Fiji’s value proposition, especially for markets such as the UK and Europe.  This news bodes well for the Fiji government who will be hosting a BPO mission to Fiji from 26 July to 28 July 2016.
